I just returned from a wonderful trip in Japan. I always loved the culture growing up and I love it even more! My Japanese was limited. I was able to communicate with locals, but I want to do better! Hi! I'm a 24-year-old Chinese boy currently pursuing PhD degree in Biology. I am a native speaker of both Mandarin and Cantonese (and some dialects in Chinese, but not proficient), so I’d be more than happy to help you with anything in these 2 languages if you are interested.
As for me, I am basic with English (TOEFL 90), I can only handle academic discussions in my familiar topics, and I really struggle with daily English and casual conversations. I’m feeling a bit anxious and would love to practice natural, everyday expressions to feel more confident.
